BOARD CHANGE
Imperial Tobacco Group PLC announces that its Deputy Chairman, Jean-Dominique Comolli, yesterday informed the Company that he will be leaving the Board with effect from 14 September 2010 in order to take up a senior position with the French Government.
Iain Napier, Chairman of Imperial Tobacco Group PLC said; "I would like to thank Jean-Dominique for his significant contribution to the Imperial Tobacco Group and previously to Altadis prior to its acquisition. I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate Jean-Dominique on his appointment to this prestigious role and wish him every success in the future."
The Company confirms that following the resignation of Mr Comolli the Board remains appropriately constituted and in compliance with the Combined Code.
