Tate & Lyle PLC (the “Company”) announces that following the allotment of ordinary 25p shares (“Shares”) on 30 July 2010 under the terms of the Tate & Lyle PLC Evergreen Scrip Dividend Scheme (the “Scheme”) at the scrip dividend reference price of 454.98p per share, the Company was informed that the following directors of the Company have acquired additional Shares:
