Total Voting Rights
In conformity with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Northern would
like to notify the market of the following:
As of 30 July 2010 the Company's issued share capital consists of 91,887,701
ordinary shares of 5 pence each with voting rights. Northern does not currently
hold shares in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights
in Northern is 91,887,701.
The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, the ordinary shares of Northern
under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
