TANJONG PUBLIC LIMITED COMPANY ("Tanjong" or "the Company")

-   Authority to allot shares pursuant to Section 551 of the United Kingdom Companies Act 2006

-   Authority to disapply certain statutory pre-emption rights pursuant to Section 570 of the United Kingdom

    Companies Act 2006

-   Authority to call for general meetings of the Company (other than an annual general meeting, etc.) on 

    not less than 14 clear days' notice

-   Adoption of new Articles of Association of Tanjong

Further to the Company's announcement on 22 June 2010 pertaining to the Notice of the Eighty-Third Annual General Meeting of the Company scheduled on 23 July 2010, the Company wishes to announce that pursuant to the Listing Rules of the Financial Services Authority, two copies of the following resolutions passed at the Eighty-Third Annual General Meeting of the Company held today have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will shortly be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at the UK Listing Authority, Financial Services Authority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS: -

(a)  the ordinary resolution in relation to the granting of authority to allot shares pursuant to Section 551 of the United Kingdom Companies 2006 ("UKCA 2006");

(b)  the special resolution in relation to the granting of authority to disapply certain statutory pre-emption rights pursuant to Section 570 of the UKCA 2006;

(c)  the special resolution in relation to the granting of authority to call for general meetings of the Company (other than an annual general meeting, etc.) on not less than 14 clear days' notice; and

(d)  the special resolution in relation to the adoption of new Articles of Association of Tanjong.
