Rurelec, the AIM listed independent power plant developer with operations in South America, announces the resignation of Jimmy West, Chairman, with immediate effect.

The Board of Directors thanks Jimmy for his contribution to the Company since Admission. Andrew Morris has been appointed acting Chairman.
