Proven Industry Veteran to Help Grow Cyber Security Monitoring Business

Endace (LSE: EDA), world leaders in high-speed packet capture and analysis solutions, today announced the appointment of Len Weinstein as Vice President of Sales, Cyber Security. In this newly created role, Mr. Weinstein will lead the dedicated IT security sales operations at Endace and will report directly to Rick Truitt, General Manager, U.S.

Mr. Weinstein joins Endace from network security software provider Check Point Software Technologies, where he served as Head of Service Provider Sales for the Americas. Weinstein became a part of the Check Point team in 2007 via the $680 million acquisition of Pointsec Mobile Technologies, where he held the role of Vice President of Sales. During his tenure at Pointsec, Weinstein helped grow company sales from $4 million in 2005 to $68 million in 2007, leading to the Check Point acquisition. He played an integral role at Pointsec from the "start-up" stage through proliferated growth and through the successful sale and integration at Check Point. Prior to Pointsec, Weinstein was the Sales Director at Sygate Technologies, who was purchased by Symantec in 2005.

Speaking of his experience working with Len Weinstein, Larry Glassman, former CISO of Fortune 500 industrial supply company W.W. Mr. Weinstein graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Communications with an emphasis on Business Administration.
