TANJONG PUBLIC LIMITED COMPANY ("Tanjong" or "the Company")

-    Annual Report 2010 of Tanjong ("Annual Report")

The Company wishes to announce that pursuant to Paragraph 14.3.7 R (1) of the Listing Rules of the Financial Services Authority in the UK, two copies of the Annual Report have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will shortly be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at the UK Listing Authority, Financial Services Authority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5HS.

The Annual Report has also been submitted to the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") and will be available at the Bursa Securities' website at www.bursamalaysia.com.

The Annual Report will also be available at the Company's website at www.tanjongplc.com.

Pursuant to the Disclosure and Transparency Rules of the Financial Services Authority in the UK, Tanjong, being a UK incorporated company whose shares are also admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange, is required to issue its Annual Report at the latest, 4 months after the end of each financial year. The Company's financial year end is 31 January.

However, under the UK Companies Act 2006, Tanjong is required to convene an annual general meeting ("AGM") to lay its annual financial statements before its members within 6 months from the end of its financial year, by giving at least 21 days' notice. The Annual Report and the notice of AGM ("Notice") need not be issued at the same time.

In this respect, please note that the Notice of the Eighty-Third Annual General Meeting of Tanjong and the Form of Proxy for the meeting will be sent to all shareholders separately in due course and, accordingly, are not appended to the Annual Report.
