Director exercise of options and Total Voting Rights

Director exercise of options

The Company announces that David Sandilands, a non-executive director of the Company, yesterday exercised 1,396,334  options over ordinary shares of 0.10p in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") all at an exercise price of 0.10p. 

Following the exercise of the above options, David Sandilands is being issued 1,396,334 Ordinary Shares under the Company's current block listing entitlement. Accordingly, Mr Sandilands now beneficially owns 1,457,931 Ordinary Shares representing 0.09 per cent. of the total issued Ordinary Share capital of the Company.

Total Voting Rights

In conformity with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Company is required to notify the market of the following:

Osmetech's issued ordinary share capital as at 31 March 2010 consists of 1,638,407,754 Ordinary Shares. Osmetech does not hold any Ordinary Shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Osmetech is 1,638,407,754. The above shares in issue of 1,638,407,754 shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Osmetech under the Financial Service Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
