DIRECTORS' SHARE INTERESTS
MR P E HADSLEY CHAPLIN
Mr  P E Hadsley-Chaplin, a director of the Company, has today transferred 66,500
shares  which  were held within his SIPP into his own name.  The share  transfer
was  made based on the prevailing market price of 353.5 pence per share, and was
for nil consideration.

The  share  transfer did not result in a change in his beneficial  holding.   Mr
Hadsley-Chaplin's interests in the issued share capital of the Company remain as
follows:

Beneficial:  1,063,112 shares of 10p each
Non-beneficial:  57,237 shares of 10p each
Options:  670,000 shares of 10p each


ISSUED SHARE CAPITAL
The  issued and voting share capital remains unchanged at 53,234,415  shares  of
10p each.
