Cathay announces that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for a listing of 3,200,000 common shares of US$0.05 each in the Company.

The application is in respect of the common shares agreed to be issued to a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company for cash, as detailed in the announcement dated 21 January 2010.
