Appointment of new Director

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Edward Creasy as a non-executive Director of Pacific Horizon Investment Trust PLC with effect from 11 March 2010.

Mr Edward Creasy is the former Chief Executive Officer of Kiln plc, a non-life insurer quoted on the London Stock Exchange until purchased by Tokio Marine Nichido Fire Insurance Co in March 2008. At present he is Chairman of Kiln Group, Chairman of RJ Kiln & Co Ltd (an FSA registered Lloyd's insurer) and a Director of W.R. Berkley Insurance (Europe), Ltd (an FSA registered UK insurance company).

The appointment of Mr Creasy falls to be ratified by Shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held in 2010.
