Asset Disposal
Media Square plc (AIM: MSQ), the international marketing communications group, today announces that the Group has completed the disposal of the Marlow operations of Lloyd Northover (the "Business"), its design and branding business to its existing management.
Pursuant to the transaction the Group will receive a consideration of £250,000 payable in cash over the twelve months post completion. Proceeds of the disposal will be used for general corporate purposes.
For the first 11 months of the current financial year to 28 February 2010, the Business has recorded an unaudited loss before tax and exceptional items of £449,000. At the end of January 2010, it had net assets of approximately £580,000.
