Shopacheck Restructuring

The Board of Cattles plc ("Cattles") today announces proposed changes in the organisation of its Shopacheck business.

As part of a review aimed at driving business growth, the management of Shopacheck has concluded that it can remove certain layers of management and support functions.

Shopacheck will now enter into a consultation process with staff affected by the proposals, of whom 290 will today receive notice that they are at risk of redundancy. It is anticipated that only 75 positions will be lost, as people will be offered new roles within a flatter organisational structure that brings Shopacheck closer to its customer base.
