Total Voting Rights and Share Capital

In conformity with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Osmetech is required to notify the market of the following:

Osmetech's issued ordinary share capital as at 12 February 2010 consists of 1,635,513,631 ordinary shares with a nominal value of 0.1 pence each, with voting rights. Osmetech does not hold any ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Osmetech is 1,635,513,631. The above shares in issue of 1,635,513,631 shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Osmetech under the Financial Service Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
