Notification of Transactions of Directors/Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility and Connected Persons.

On the 18th January 2010, Irish Life & Permanent Group Holdings plc replaced Irish Life & Permanent plc as the listed holding company for the Irish Life & Permanent group of companies pursuant to a scheme of arrangement sanctioned by the High Court on the 11th January 2010 (the Scheme) which became effective on the 15th January 2010.

Under the terms of the Scheme, shares and share options previously held by the directors and PDMR's of Irish Life & Permanent plc have been exchanged on a one for one basis for shares/share options in Irish Life & Permanent Group Holdings plc.

There is no change to the number of shares or share options held by the directors/PDMR's of Irish Life & Permanent Group Holdings plc following exchange.
