COBHAM ACQUIRES SAFELIFE SYSTEMS FOR US$0.6M


Cobham plc ('Cobham') is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of the assets of SafeLife Systems ('SafeLife') from PROCON, Inc. for a cash consideration of US$0.6 million.


SafeLife provides a unique subscription service that enables 406MHz emergency beacon owners to verify that their device is functioning properly and to send non-distress text and email messages showing GPS position and location mapping The business will be integrated into Cobham's Life Support business, part of Cobham's Mission Systems Division, which is a leading manufacturer of emergency beacons.
