The Company announces that Mr Michael Hitchcock, the Group Finance Director has resigned and will be leaving the Company with effect from 30 April 2010 to seek new corporate challenges.  

Michael joined the Company in October 2006 and has provided financial stability to the business during a challenging three and half years which included a formal bid for the business and a retail downturn. He has supported the Board and assisted Brian Brick in taking on the position of Chief Executive during the last year and ensured that the balance sheet is in a strong position to support the launch of the next stage in the Company's transition.

Michael will stay with the Company and see it through the financial year end process and assist in finding a suitable replacement.

The Company has appointed a firm of recruitment consultants to assist the Company with the recruitment of a new Group Finance Director. The Company will make an announcement about this appointment in due course.
