SHARE PURCHASE
Education Development International plc ("EDI" or the "Company"), the leading provider of educational qualifications and assessment services, announces that on 12 January 2010 the Company's Employee Benefit Trust (the "EBT") purchased 100,000 shares in the Company at 152.0p per share and today purchased 50,000 share in the company at 151.50p per share.
Following these transactions, the EBT is now interested in 3,610,476 ordinary shares, representing 6.27% of the issued share capital of the Company.
Mr Barrie Clark and Mr Nigel Snook, being Directors of the Company, are also Trustees of the EBT and Mr Snook is a potential beneficiary of the EBT.
