Application for Block Admission

An application for block admission has been made for a total of 8,672,822 ordinary shares of 0.5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company ("Block Admission Shares") to be issued under the Caledon Resources plc 2000 Discretionary Share Option Scheme ("Scheme") to be admitted to trading on AIM on 19 January 2010. This figure represents the current total number of vested options in the Scheme.

The Block Admission Shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued Ordinary Shares of the Company.
