BOARD CHANGES

DSG international plc today announces the appointment of Dr. Utho Creusen as a non-executive Director with effect from February 1, 2010 and that John Whybrow will retire as a non-executive director with effect from 31 March 2010.

Utho has extensive international retail experience having spent the early part of his career at OBI AG (a leading European DIY retailer) and he was Chief Human Resources Director of Media-Saturn Holding GmbH (part of the Metro AG Group) from 2002 - 2008.  He is currently a non-executive director of M.Video (a leading Russian consumer electronics retailer).  He also holds a number of advisory and academic positions.

Tim How, currently a non-executive Director, will replace John Whybrow as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee with effect from 31 March 2010.

Commenting on the announcement, John Allan, Chairman of DSG international, said "I am delighted that Utho has agreed to join our board.  He brings with him significant international retail experience.  I would also like to thank John Whybrow for his significant contribution to the Board over the past seven years".
