B.P. Marsh (AIM: BPM), the niche venture capital provider to early stage financial services businesses announces that Brian Marsh OBE, Executive Chairman of the Company purchased a total of 6,000 ordinary shares in the Company on the 8 January 2010.  2,000 ordinary shares were purchased at a price of 87 pence per share, and 4,000 ordinary shares were purchased at a price of 89 pence per share.

As a result of the transaction, the beneficial holding of Brian Marsh OBE is 17,304,771 shares in the Company, representing 59.1% of the total issued share capital.
