Equities Index Unsecured Loan Stock 2013 - Interest Payment

British Empire Securities and General Trust plc announces that the rate of interest (gross of income tax) on its Equities Index Unsecured Loan Stock 2013 for the quarter ended 31 December 2009 was 1.757 pence per unit, equivalent to £17.57 per 1,000 units of stock.

The interest payment will be made today to stockholders on the register at 31 December 2009.
