Director/PDMR Shareholding Notification

Caledonia Investments plc ("Caledonia") announces the following transactions undertaken by J M May, a director of Caledonia, on 5 January 2010. 

Mr May exercised options over 37,334 ordinary 5p shares in Caledonia, representing 0.06% of Caledonia's total issued ordinary share capital (excluding shares held in treasury) at an exercise price of 945p per share. 

Mr May sold 27,877 of the shares received, representing 0.05% of Caledonia's issued ordinary share capital, at a price of 1619.5p per share to fund the exercise costs and associated tax liabilities. The remaining 9,457 shares, representing 0.02% of Caledonia's issued ordinary share capital, will be registered in Mr May's own name.  

Mr May's total interests in Caledonia's shares following the above transactions are as follows:

Beneficial - 33,995 shares = 0.06% 

Options - 139,031 shares = 0.24%   

Deferred bonus plan - 31,850 shares = 0.05%      

This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R(1)(a) in relation to the dealings by Mr May.
