Pennant International Group plc announces that on 31 December 2009 it purchased 50,000 of its own ordinary shares of 5p, at a price of 6.5 pence per share and a further 50,000 of its own ordinary shares of 5p, at a price of 7 pence per share, to be held as treasury shares. The Company now holds 3,869,884 ordinary shares in treasury.

The number of ordinary shares remaining in the market is 28,130,116.
