New IBMS License Contracts Signed

With Discovery Communications in the USA and Corus Entertainment in Canada

LONDON Dec 31, 2009 - Pilat Media Global plc [AIM: PGB], the leading supplier of business management software to the media industry, is pleased to announce the signing of two new contracts for the licensing of its flagship Integrated Broadcast Management System (IBMS) software product.  

The first contract is with Discovery Communications LLC, an existing Pilat Media client since 2002, for the extension of its existing IBMS license and the potential expansion of its use into additional territories.  

The second contract is with a new client, Corus Entertainment Inc. of Canada, for the licensing of certain IBMS modules to support its TV operations.  Corus Entertainment is one of Canada's most successful integrated media and entertainment companies, with specialty TV channels, pay TV services, local over-the-air television stations and 52 radio stations.

The total value of the licenses purchased under these two contracts is approximately US$ 6.2 million. In both cases the contracts do not include any customisation and implementation and maintenance fees, which the Company expect to negotiate and contract for separately in the New Year.
