On 30 September 2009, the Company announced it was considering the future focus of its business activities. Since then, both market conditions and the regulatory environment has continued to impact adversely on the profitability and operation of our trading subsidiaries. Although Falcon Securities Limited has continued to trade at or around breakeven, conditions at Montague Pitman Limited have deteriorated further given its reliance on retail clients and the particular compliance issues and costs arising in that sector.

In these circumstances, the Company is continuing to review all possible options including the sale or partial sale of our trading subsidiaries or the acquisition of other financial service businesses.

Shareholders will be updated further as appropriate.
