In accordance with AIM Rule 17, the Company announces that Mr Ami Mpungwe, Executive Chairman of the Company, has informed the Company that, in October 2009, AFGEM Limited ('AFGEM'), a company of which Mr Ami Mpungwe is a director was placed into compulsory liquidation. Mr Mpungwe has remained as a non-executive director of AFGEM following the sale of its tanzanite business to the Company in 2004.
