Further orders for videoconferencing systems

SCOTTY is pleased to announce that it has received further purchase orders, worth approximately Euros 550,000, for videoconferencing equipment for the German and other Armed Forces. These orders are for the supply of further "Rollabout" videoconferencing systems, together with new SCOTTY Mobile and Promax units and ancillary upgrades to existing videoconferencing equipment.

The 'Rollabout' systems are enhanced variations of SCOTTY's existing video and data communications technology which have been specifically developed to target new segments within the military communications market.

These orders are additional to the orders worth Euros 700,000 for Rollabouts and other videoconferencing equipment previously announced on 7 September 2009 and are expected to be delivered in December 2009 and early 2010. 

SCOTTY's Chief Executive Officer, Kurt Kerschat, commented:

"We are very pleased to have received these further orders, as they include the first of the follow-on orders for Rollabouts that we anticipated in our previous announcement in September 2009.

"The Rollabout system is another example of SCOTTY's ability to adapt its technology to provide customised solutions in a short turnaround time. The order is also evidence of the positive reception accorded to the system by the customer, following the successful delivery of the first batch of Rollabouts in October 2009. The order for new Mobiles and Promaxes demonstrates that our latest release of these units has also been well received."
