LONDON, 21 December 2009 - European Nickel PLC (”European Nickel” or the
“Company”) (AIM, PLUS: ENK) received notification on 18 December 2009 from JP
Morgan Asset Management Holdings Inc that as of 16 December 2009 JP Morgan Asset
Management (UK) Limited’ having purchased 17,917,152, held a total of
47,800,000 shares representing 10.15% of the ordinary shares of 1p in the
Company.
