FOR SHARES OF NJK CORPORATION
NTT DATA CORPORATION ("NTT DATA"), a subsidiary of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation ("NTT"), has announced today its decision, adopted at its board of directors meeting held today, to execute a capital and business alliance agreement with NJK Corporation (Code Number: 9748, Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange; hereinafter the "Target Company") and to acquire shares of the Target Company by means of a tender offer. The tender offer is expected to have minimal impact on NTT's consolidated business results.
