On 17th December 2009 the following share transactions were completed by two Non-Executive Directors of Man Group plc. Man Group plc was informed of the transactions on 18th December 2009.

Shares acquired: 7,944 ordinary shares of 3 3/7 US cents each at a price of 309.981 pence per share under the Man Group plc Dividend Reinvestment Plan.

Following this transaction Mrs. Carnwath holds a total of 217,115 shares.

Ruud Hendriks:

Shares acquired: 3,431 ordinary shares of 3 3/7 US cents each at a price of 309.981 pence per share under the Man Group plc Dividend Reinvestment Plan.

Following this transaction Mr. Hendriks holds a total of 93,796 shares.
