Drax advises that David Lindsell, a non-executive director of the Company, was appointed as a non-executive director of Gartmore Group Limited, a Cayman Islands registered company, on 27 November 2009. Gartmore Group Limited was admitted to the official list of the London Stock Exchange on 16 December 2009.

There are no other matters to disclose in accordance with paragraph 9.6.14R of the Listing Rules.
