SHARE AWARD TO EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

This notification is made in accordance with DR 3.1.4.R.

CEO BONUS SHARE AWARD

Further to the announcement made on 1 October 2009, a deferred award of 125,000 shares in Inmarsat plc has been made to Andrew Sukawaty, an executive director of the Company, on 16 December 2009 using the middle market closing price of £6.59 on 15 December 2009. The award was made at nil cost to the participant.

The shares will generally vest in September 2012 to the extent that the performance condition of EBITDA growth related to the 2010 Financial Year has been satisfied.
