Transfer of Treasury Shares

ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on December 11th, 2009 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

37004 ordinary shares at 125 pence per share    

62393 ordinary shares at 105.5 pence per share    

8750 ordinary shares at 104.25 pence per share    

1124 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share    

1000 ordinary shares at 56 pence per share    

35522 ordinary shares at 43.75 pence per share                

            

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 61,696,752

Ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,282,358,944.
