                                 Board Changes                                 

Software Radio Technology plc (the "Company") announces that Nick Jolliffe will
step down as Non-Executive Chairman to take a sabbatical and will be replaced
by Simon Rogers, who is currently a Non-Executive Director, as Non-Executive
Chairman on an interim basis from 1 January 2010 while the Company seeks a
replacement. The Directors would like to thank Nick for his work over the last
two years on the Board.
