ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on December 10th, 2009 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

352750 ordinary shares at 125 pence per share    

307 ordinary shares at 118.75 pence per share    

2500 ordinary shares at 105.75 pence per share    

256536 ordinary shares at 105.5 pence per share    

76250 ordinary shares at 80.5 pence per share    

5000 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share    

28540 ordinary shares at 43.75 pence per share    

10124 ordinary shares at 27 pence per share    

33524 ordinary shares at 22 pence per share    

10000 ordinary shares at 19 pence per share            

            

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 61,842,545

Ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,282,213,151.
