TR1 Notification

Hightex Group plc (AIM:HTIG), a leading designer and installer of large membrane roofs and façades worldwide, received notification on 8 December 2009, following an acquisition of shares in Hightex's recently announced placing, Hargreave Hale Limited increased their holding to 12,363,100 shares which represents 6.782% of the Group's issued share capital. 

Of these shares 10,643,100 are for a unit trust operated by Marlborough Fund Managers Limited for whom Hargreave Hale Limited manages the portfolio of investments on a discretionary basis. The remaining balance is held on behalf of other discretionary clients.
