Petropavlovsk PLC ("the Company") announces that, further to the conversion of bonds and the resulting allotment of 1,380,202 shares today, the total issued share capital of the Company comprises 181,715,334 ordinary shares with a nominal value of £0.01 each, each ordinary share conveying the right to one vote. Petropavlovsk PLC does not hold any ordinary shares in Treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in Petropavlovsk PLC is 181,715,334.

The above figure of 181,715,334 shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Petropavlovsk PLC under the Financial Service Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
