End of Offer Period
On 13 August 2009, in response to a movement in the Group's share price, the Board of Directors of Alphameric (the "Board") was required to announce that it had received a very early stage expression of interest from a third party.
The Board today announces that discussions have now been terminated. The third party has acknowledged the termination of discussions and is no longer considering an offer for the Group. Accordingly the Group has ceased to be in an "offer period" for the purposes of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers.
