Empresaria Group plc ("Empresaria" or the "Company")

Empresaria has been notified by Miles Hunt, Chief Executive, that the grant by him to HSBC of security over 2,190,971 Empresaria ordinary shares of 5p each ("Empresaria Shares"), in connection with a personal loan to subscribe for Empresaria Shares, was removed effective 23 November 2009. There are no other security arrangements over Mr Hunt's interest in Empresaria Shares.  

There is no change to the aggregate interest of Mr Hunt, and his connected parties, in Empresaria Shares which is 3,963,092 shares (representing 8.89 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company).
