Transfer of Treasury Shares

ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on December 02nd, 2009 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

130787 ordinary shares at 102.64 pence per share

14625 ordinary shares at 125 pence per share    

15000 ordinary shares at 105.5 pence per share    

2000 ordinary shares at 104.25 pence per share    

1500 ordinary shares at 100.5 pence per share    

5482 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share    

30000 ordinary shares at 65 pence per share        

                

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 63,649,700

Ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,280,405,996.
