Afren plc ("Afren" or the "Company") announces that its entire ordinary share capital issued or to be issued has today been admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority (the "Official List") and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities ("Admission"). Simultaneously, trading in the Company's ordinary shares on AIM has ceased and dealings on the London Stock Exchange's main market has commenced today at 8 a.m. (London time).

The Admission was sponsored by Merrill Lynch International.
