Further to receiving correcting information from Mr. Timothy Edward Arthur Askew, a person discharging managerial responsibilities of WS Atkins plc, (the "Company"), we confirm that a change is needed to the announcement made on 30 November 2009.

1,600 shares purchased jointly by Mr. Askew and his spouse were purchased at £6.1434 and not £6.11 as disclosed. All other information from the announcement made on 30 November 2009 remains the same.
