Completion of Disposal

Microgen plc is pleased to announce that the disposal of its Billing Services
Division to Swiss Post Solutions Limited has completed today.

Microgen plc has submitted to the UK Listing Authority a copy of the
resolutions passed at its general meeting held on Thursday 26 November 2009 for
the purposes of approving the disposal and which will shortly be available for
inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility at the FSA,
