Director/PDMR Shareholding Notification

SDL PLC announces that it has been informed that on 26 November 2009 Alastair Gordon, a director of the Company, exercised an option over 98,000 ordinary shares of one penny each in the Company which were due to lapse at the end of November 2009.  

Alastair Gordon has sold 43,000 shares at a price of 377.1977 pence per share to fund the exercise costs and related income tax liabilities and retained 55,000 shares.  

Alastair Gordon's resultant holding is 55,000 ordinary shares (0.07%) of the issued share capital of the Company.

The percentage calculations are based on 76,958,845 Ordinary Shares, being the total issued share capital of the Company with voting rights.

 The above notification relates to a transaction notified in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R(1)(a).
