Archie Norman - Appointment Date and Purchase of Shares

Following the announcement on 18 November 2009, ITV plc confirms that Archie Norman will be appointed non-executive Chairman of the Company on 1 January 2010.

ITV also wishes to announce that on 26 November 2009, Mr Norman purchased 380,000 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company at 51.878289 pence per share, which are held in his own name.
