ISSUE OF SHARES

EMED Mining Public Limited ("EMED") wishes to announce that it has issued a total 823,056 new ordinary shares in the Company to Resource Capital Fund IV L.P. and RMB Australia Holdings Limited as payment of interest and commitment fees in relation to the convertible note agreement they have with EMED.

Following the issue of these shares, EMED will have a total of 309,606,426 ordinary shares on issue.
