Board Appointment

The BSS Group plc ('BSS' or 'the Group'), a leading distributor to specialist trades, announces that Frank Elkins is appointed an Executive and will join the BSS Board of Directors with immediate effect.

Frank Elkins joined BSS in 2003 and became the Managing Director of the Industrial Division, a specialist distributor of pipeline, heating and mechanical services equipment serving customers across all industrial sectors within the UK and Ireland in 2005.

There are no details to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules.

Chief Executive Gavin Slark said: "Frank has played a key role in the development of the Group over the past four years and I am delighted to welcome him to the Board."
