Serabi Mining plc advises that following the completion of the recent
issue of 155,983,518 ordinary shares of 0.5 pence each (Ordinary
Shares) it has received the following notifications relating to major
interests in shares in the Company.

            On 19th November it was notified by Greenwood Investments
Limited that it now holds an interest in 85,434,000 Ordinary Shares
representing a 28.85% interest in the shares of the Company.

            On 18th November it was notified that Barclays
Stockbrokers Limited no longer has a notifiable interest in the
Ordinary Shares of the Company.  Barclays Stockbrokers Limited holds
only an indirect interest over the voting rights of these shares and
the shares are held on behalf of a number of clients of Barclays
Stockbrokers Limited.
