Bodycote plc announces that on 19 November 2009 the following directors and
PDMRs purchased Shares at an average price of 187.3p per Share. These purchases
have been made in accordance with the rules of the Bodycote Share Match Plan
("BSMP").

The BSMP was approved by shareholders at the AGM in May 2006. The awards

November 2009 under the BSMP to Directors and PDMRs as follows: -
